Prayer is not to be used like a spare tire on a car. If anything it should be the steering wheel of your life.

So yeah, I do the rap thing, and I love worship music. I’m kinda new school with my music preferences, you know the Hillsong United stuff, (All I Need Is You- come on), Desperation Band, Chris Tomlin, you know the music that that just seems to drop you off in the presence of God. I love that. I have never been a fan of the old school hymns. Never really been exposed to them. From the more Gospel sounds of Faith Chapel Christian Center (Birmingham, AL) to the more Christian Contemporary styles of Victory (Philadelphia, PA) hymns have never played a major role in my worship experience. Oh nothing against Amazing Grace or the Old Rugged Cross, the message in these songs can change your life. So, I found myself sitting in church a couple of week’s back, with more on my mind than whatever Pastor Ed was talking about. (Sorry Pastor) All of sudden, he has this young lady to sing this hymn entitled What A Friend We Have In Jesus. Now, I have heard this hymn before, but this was the first time I have LISTENED to it. The whole thing is great, but there was one part that grabbed me…….

EVERYTHING TO GOD IN PRAYERThe idea that PEACE is being offered to us, and we will give it up, all because we do not give it to God in prayer. What a concept/idea. I can have rest, be at peace, chill out if only I give the problem to God. Not only give it to him, but allow him to keep it and realize that he’s the only one who can fix it. He’s the only one that can make it right. Take it to God in Prayer
What a Friend we have in Jesus, all our sins and griefs to bear!
What a privilege to carry everything to God in prayer!
O what peace we often forfeit, O what needless pain we bear,
All because we do not carry everything to God in prayer.
Have we trials and temptations? Is there trouble anywhere?
We should never be discouraged; take it to the Lord in prayer.
Can we find a friend so faithful who will all our sorrows share?
Jesus knows our every weakness; take it to the Lord in prayer.
Are we weak and heavy laden, cumbered with a load of care?
Precious Savior, still our refuge, take it to the Lord in prayer.
Do your friends despise, forsake you? Take it to the Lord in prayer!
In His arms He’ll take and shield you; you will find a solace there.
Blessed Savior, Thou hast promised Thou wilt all our burdens bear
May we ever, Lord, be bringing all to Thee in earnest prayer.
Soon in glory bright unclouded there will be no need for prayer
Rapture, praise and endless worship will be our sweet portion there.

If our hair count is important enough for God to know. surely He knows everything else that concerns us. Cast ur cares, cause HE cares. 

Those who see God's hand in everything, can best leave everything in God's hands. God is good, let HIM show you how good. Call U Blessed
