My Little Sister is Growing Up
Today marks a day that at times we thought would never be. At times, appeared to be impossible. At times seemed like an almost impossible dream. Yet, today, she made it happen. My little sister graduated high school!!! When she first gave me the date we joked how she wouldn't get to graduate because Jesus was coming back a day earlier, LOL. While I am extremely proud of Jennifer Faith Ford, I have to give a lot of credit to myself, of course, but mostly to our parents Roosevelt Ford Jr and Vilee Ford. My mom who makes things happen and goes the extra mile to make sure that those around her have every opportunity to succeed, had to work overtime to make this day happen. And my dad, who has a "different way" displaying his motivation or "encouragement" played a role in the completion of this journey. It's not the end, more like a rest stop. My little sister is a by product of great parenting and people believing in her. People praying, standing and confessing the word over her. I can not say for sure what step she will take or move she will make next, but I do know God has a plan for her and I just want to watch her go.

A Prayer
May God bless you with discomfort at easy answers, half truths, and superficial relationships, so that you may live deep within your heart. May God bless you with anger at injustice, oppression, and exploitation of people, so that you may work for justice, freedom and peace. May God bless you with tears to shed for those who suffer from pain, rejection, starvation, and war, so that you may reach out your hand to comfort them and to turn their pain in to joy. And may God bless you with enough foolishness to believe that you can make a difference in this world, so that you can do what others claim cannot be done. To bring justice and kindness to all our children and the poor. Amen — Craig Groeschel
